- Hello, I teach English for Science and Technology (EST) courses (English for Engineers and Technologists)at an engineering college in Chennai, India. I have taught ESP and EAP courses in India and abroad. The best part of my teaching career was at a technology university in Kigali, Rwanda, East Africa, where I headed the Department of English, taught English to students of technology and management and designed ESP courses. I'm also a freelance journalist and writer. I contribute a regular column 'English Matters' to The New Indian Express, a popular daily newspaper in India. I also send English Learning materials via email to English Matters Club members on a regular basis and help learners of English interact with other members of the club. My PhD is on English for Science and Technology. I'm the editor of English Language Teaching Contacts Scheme (ELTeCS) for India and Sri Lanka. ELTeCS is a network of English language teachers.
